Summer Training Schedule for Qualifiers

By: FMSC Web Admin - Jun. 09, 2010

Please see the training schedules given below which will come into effect after the Red Deer meet until the end of the season. Because the training times and lane availablity changes quite a bit over the next few months and with swimmers from each group qualifying for different events, I have had to split the schedule into four separate time periods. I hope its not too difficult to follow..

Please note that the only athletes that will be training will be those swimmers taking part in the following meets :

Alberta Age Group Trials ( B's)
Alberta Age Group Championships ( A's)
Canadian Age Group Championships
Alberta Summer Games
Canadian Senior Nationals

For all other swimmers the season ends this weekend after the Red Deer Freeze or Fry meet.

Training will continue up to the time you leave for the last meet in the season that you qualify for. For example if you have qualified for B's then you train until we leave for B's. If during B's you get an A time you will then come home and continue to train on till A's etc etc.

Good luck to all of you!

Please contact me if you have any queries regarding when you swim.

Alex
